Spelderholt® Poultry Consulting and Research SPCR, established in 2002, provides
consulting and research activities for the poultry industry.
Consultancy and Research
Expert advice on poultry
production, processing, products, hygiene and quality control. The activities include the management and
risk assessment of the safety and quality of eggs, egg products, poultry meat and further processed
products, through optimising conditions for production and processing and the implementation of quality
assurance systems, including HACCP.
The management of (inter)national projects, contacts with authorities,
networking bringing experts and potential partners together, fact-finding missions, inspection visits,
representation, scientific literature reviews and studies, presentation of lectures, advice on
regulatory matters, research and the organisation of seminars, workshops and training
working with SPCR have more than 15 years experience in research, development and extension services and
have worked in research institutes, universities or in the poultry industry.
SPCR has no own research
facilities. Therefore it works in co-operation with renowned institutes, private as well as
governmental, and universities in the European Union.
